What Is 52?

When I got out of my record deal the summer of 2007, I decided it was time to try something a little different. It felt great to be an independent artist again, and I was more inspired than ever to write and record. I was looking for a new way to present my music, so my manager and I came up with the idea of a project which we call "52". Starting January 7th, 2008, I released one new, original song every week for a year through my '52' website. The project was a big success as I easily surpassed my goal of 1,000 members and, more importantly, I wrote a lot of quality songs throughout the year.

Getting The Music:
You'll be able to get the music 2 ways:

  1. by subscribing to 52, and getting all the tracks and extras for less
  2. on iTunes, Amazon, and other digital stores

The 52 Website:
We've built this subscription website so that members can download unprotected mp3 files at a high-quality 320 kbps or more standard 128 kbps, or a lossless FLAC format. Each week of 2008, I posted a new mp3, lyrics, song notes, and a blog that you will have full access to as a member. You are also able to comment on the song and interact with other members on the site.

Join Anytime:
You can subscribe at any point during "52," even after I start - the songs, blog, lyrics, everything - will all still be there from previous weeks.
