When I got out of my record deal the summer of 2007, I decided it was time to try something a little different. It felt great to be an independent artist again, and I was more inspired than ever to write and record. I was looking for a new way to present my music, so my manager and I came up with the idea of a project which we call "52". Starting January 7th, 2008, I released one new, original song every week for a year through my '52' website. The project was a big success as I easily surpassed my goal of 1,000 members and, more importantly, I wrote a lot of quality songs throughout the year.

The 52 Website:
We've built this subscription website so that members can download unprotected mp3 files at a high-quality 320 kbps or more standard 128 kbps, or a lossless FLAC format. Each week of 2008, I posted a new mp3, lyrics, song notes, and a blog that you will have full access to as a member. You are also able to comment on the song and interact with other members on the site.

What quality are the downloads I will get?
Every week you'll get good quality mp3's (128kbps), high quality mp3's (32kbps), and lossless .flac files. You don't have to choose - you get them all. I subscribed to 52. Now what?
Use your Username and Password to Login, and then use the Members Menu to navigate to get downloads and access member content. If I forget to download the track one week, will it be there the next?
Yes, all of the songs are archived and available later on, so don't stress if you miss a few weeks. Are the songs from 52 available on CD?
Right now, they're only available digitally. If you don't want to subscribe, you can also download individual tracks from the mp3 Store right when it's released, or from iTunes or Amazon several weeks later. Can I give my login to my friend to use?
We support sharing music with friends, but please use your good judgement and don't abuse it by blatantly allowing people to steal the music for free. We're not setting out to police multiple downloads of a single song by one member, but we can track that if we need to. Instead, if a friend wants a lot of the songs, please consider getting them a Gift Certificate. |

We'll ask them to identify you by your 52 Username. 3) We'll email you to let you know that your account has been updated with a new referral credit. 4) We'll automatically credit your account with the 3 B-Side tracks after 3 referrals, and your referral credits will not go back to zero. 5) At 10 referrals, we'll ask if you'd like an iPod Mini, or if you'd like to continue to save them for an iPod Touch. Whenever you redeem your credits for either iPod, your credits will start over again from zero. A) Unfortunately, it's too difficult and unreliable for us to track this process backwards. Only referrals beginning on May 5th will count towards referral credit. Q) Do gift certificates count towards this program?

Redeeming A Gift Certificate |

To redeem a gift certificate, please follow these steps: 1. Do you have a PayPal account? If not, first sign up for one here: https://paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_registration-run
2. Once you have an account, go back to http://www.arihest.com/index.php?option=com_acctexp&task=subscribe and click the BUY button for Basic Membership ($20), Preferred Membership ($35), or Premium Membership ($75) - this will take you to a page where you'll be prompted to log in to your PayPal account.
3. Once logged in, on the checkout screen, you'll see a small link on the right side right under the Total Amount that says ENTER GIFT CERTIFICATE, COUPON, OR REWARD. Click that link and enter the redemption code you received in your gift certificate email from PayPal. That should do it!
